SKIN TYPE I – DRY
Characteristics
• Oil zone is limited to the nose area
• If oil surfaces at all, it is in
the evening
• Follicles are not visible
SKIN TYPE II – NORMAL TO DRY
Characteristics
• Oil zone includes the nose to the inside
corner of the eyes
• Oil surfaces around 4 pm or 8 hours
after cleansing
• Follicles are small
SKIN TYPE III – NORMAL TO COMBINATION
Characteristics
• Oil zone includes the nose to the inside
of the iris of the eyes
• Oil surfaces around 2 pm or 6 hours
after cleansing
• Follicles are normal
SKIN TYPE IV – NORMAL TO OILY
